Recycling After the Holidays
New High School Watershed Program This year we have partnered with the County of San Diego to give free classroom presentations to High School students in the unincorporated areas of the County. These presentations focus on local watersheds, explain the difference between storm water and waste water, and identify everyday actions everyone can take to keep their local watershed healthy. This presentation can be delivered in either a classroom or assembly-style setting and addresses CA State Education Standards for Science, History-Social Science, and the Industrial Arts. If you are a teacher or know a teacher in the unincorporated areas of San Diego County please call Colleen at 619-291-0103 ext. 3009 or email us today to set up your free presentation. Our goal is to reach 5,000 unincorporated high school students this school year! |
